EASY BAKED CHEESE TART
INGREDIENTS
1 egg
30 grams sugar
100 grams cream cheese
50 milliliters heavy cream
1 teaspoon lemon juice
6 tart shells
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon water
PREPARATION
1. Divide eggs into egg white and egg yolk.
2. In a medium bowl, combine egg white and half of sugar. Whisk until firm peaks form.
3. In a separate bowl, add cream cheese and remaining sugar and mix until completely smooth.
4. To the cream cheese mixture, add egg yolk, heavy cream, lemon juice and mix well.
5. Gently fold egg whites into the cream cheese mixture in three parts, and stir until fully incorporated.
6. Pour the custard base into the tart shell, either with a piping bag or a pitcher.
7. Add the water to the egg yolk and stir to combine, Brush the tops of the custard gently with diluted egg yolk mixture.
8. Broil for 15 minutes until lightly browned in toaster oven.
